24 hours of travel time later, we arrive back to our 2nd home in good spirits....until we found out about the bush fires that have burned down homes, split family members apart as people have died and gone missing. (It is all taking place very far down south from us, in the state of Victoria- near Melbourne) It has been all over the news here, and the main story that touched my heart was this little koala found in the blazing forest. Nicknamed "Sam", he was found in the forest following firefighters and with scorched paws...check out this video of him getting a drink of water from the firefighters. (fast forward to about 50 seconds in)
