In addition to riding his dirtbike every chance he can get, B has also taken his Ute for a lot of action-packed 4 wheel driving. You saw us romping around on the beach last month, but last weekend he convinced me to go with him on an all dirt and mountain off road adventure. Hesitantly, I thought I'd go along to see what the fuss was all about....On the 2 hour drive south of Brisbane to "Springs Park", we saw these cool sunflower fields.

Right off the bat, I realized this is what we were in for (above). I tightened my seatbelt and got the camera out!

Sure it looks mild, but you have to believe me when I say I thought the ute was going to roll on its side or take a nose dive into the rocks. Yes, some might say I was even panicking...check out a
small clip HERE of when I jumped out to film B going up a tough spot.

(Probably right after or right before we hit a massive rock and I hit my head really hard on the roof of the car)

The best part of the day: the roos who were following us and checking out what all the (my) screaming was about!

We stopped here (lovely spot, isn't it?) to take a break.

All in all, it was a good day for an Aussie adventure. Life has been pretty busy since we got back to Oz, and the weather is still sunny and warm :) We are DEFINITELY looking forward to the upcoming autumn and wintertime! Until next blog post... cheers, and wear those seatbelts!

You guys live a good life, you know that? Keep it up!
You brave girl. Question- does Brian actually let you take the pictures or does he put up a fuss? I love how you always have pictures together.
Love ya
Haha yeah, B is good about taking pictures with me now since he knows people check us out in the blog...his digital camera also takes some pretty good self timer shots too, so that helps!
Wow, that is so beautiful! I love the sunflowers.
I don't know if I could do it - you are one tough cookie! Off-roading is NOT one of my favorite past times. Glad to see you still in one piece :)
