So last time I posted I promised that my updates would be in real time, instead of 3 weeks late as usual. This time I was ready to go, but when our new neighbours moved in our internet connection was dropped. For 3 weeks. Seriously. I probably could have gotten it fixed sooner, but we have been very busy with our vehicles being lit on fire, visiting our neighbour to the south (NZ), and all last week I was up north in Mackay for work. Life hasn't slowed down one bit, all the while I have been undertaking a complete teardown and rebuild of my beloved dirtbike. More to come on that in my next post. Now, onto the multitude of photos that have accumulated in my Picasa account. Good luck browsing all of these in one shot!
Bushwalking with Dustin <-- Click Here
We traveled the first two thirds of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk, beginning at Lake Baroon and finishing (to our horror) in the town of Mapleton. You have to check out the antics during this walk - our first leeches, swimming under waterfalls, and discovering burnt cars! I tell you what, the hike was so beautiful, we took so many pictures and had such a wonderful time along the ~30 Kms, not even the burned up 'Rolla could ruin my weekend.
Our First Trip to New Zealand! (South Island) <-- Click Here
We knew we were on our way to somewhere special, but nothing can really prepare you for the Southern Alps. First by train, later by car and sheep the whole way round! We had a brilliant time and certainly found our way to make the best tour of the island you could possibly accomplish in 4 days.
Be sure to read the descirptions on the albums in Picasa, I've detailed a bit of goodness in there as well. Also don't forget that you can see all of our albums to date by visiting http://picasaweb.google.com/bkozan
Next time we'll look at the complete teardown of a 2007 CRF250X! You'll even get to see the internals of a dual chamber telescoping suspension and the top end of a single cam, 4 valve single cylinder. Exciting - I know!
