Jumping through the first hoop...

So as of yesterday we have officially started our paperwork to apply for our "work and holiday visa". And damn, Australia is pretty picky, if I do say so myself! They have qualifications like: must be 18-30 years old, have a college degree, have at least $5,000 available in your bank account, passport, photos, medical records, driver's license, explain your job skills, blah, blah, blah....I'm surprised they didn't want us to send in a lock of hair or a tooth! It's going to take some serious time and careful scrutiny to make sure we do everything correctly the first time....so here we go! We're aiming to mail it out in mid-February and hopefully get our visas approved by April. Keep your fingers crossed!
