We can't thank everyone enough for coming to our farewell party on Sunday. These pictures don't show it, but there were at least 70 or so people that we saw within 3 hours, and were kind enough to drop by to wish us well. Thank you to Summer's parents Patti and Scott for hosting this, preparing the food, cleaning the house twice (before and after the chaos), and breaking the record for "amount of people crammed in their house". Congrats to Krysta, who wins the award for "Most miles logged to attend the party"...(she came all the way from Pennsylvania to say goodbye!)
It goes without saying that many of you played a huge part in getting us to this point in our lives where we can pursue this adventure. You will be missed terribly, but keep those emails and skype chats coming! How else will you know when to send us boxes of cereal, powdered drink mix, and other American delicacies?
Lastly, let me not forget to mention that I saw "Smokey Joe's Cafe" last week! This was directed by the talented Phillip Fazio, and starred Sara Clifford and Shannon Pringle. *STANDING OVATION* Summer's friends are officially THE most talented and fabulous people around.
*Also, a special shout-out goes to Jess Mapes (Jensen's girlfriend) who, along with the ASU Sundevils Women's Softball team, victoriously captured the NCAA championship in the Women's College World Series. GO DEVILS!
