Quick, take a picture of me!

Here are some quick highlights of our exploration of "the city" today. We took a bus in, and took ferries around the river...went to a museum and learned heaps about Oz's history, and all the animals that live here...went to the botanic gardens, relaxed at the South Bank beach, chased funny looking birds everywhere, and hit pubs along the way. We are feeling pretty confident about using all the public transportation, and are loving it! Wish us luck as we start the hunt for a flat this week...








By the way, we meant to introduce our good luck charm and traveling partner, Kirby the Koala. He was given to us by our Aussie friends Berni and Laki (who live in AZ) and he's been with us ever since! We'll feature pictures of him and his sister Kasey every once in awhile so they don't feel left out. :P
