She works hard for the money...

I (Summer) did some random acting/commercial face modeling gigs back in AZ to make some cash right before we moved to Oz. I just found one of the pictures online! It's too funny to not share, because I remember that this one shot must have taken about 3 hours due to technical difficulties alone. What you can't see in this picture are the group of people goofing off behind me (making each other laugh) and that I'm actually barefoot, and leaning on the desk very awkwardly to get the right angle. My favorite part is the big pimple on my cheek that I guess they didn't photoshop out! That day taught me that I am an impatient person, and that I was the only model who ate their cookies at lunch. (Everyone else was on a low-carb diet of sorts.) Oh well, at least I got paid well...

Check it out HERE.

That. Is. Awesome.

How did you even find it? Is it fun being the "token minority"?

Maybe the thought the zit was a beauty mark...

HAHA yes, I enjoy being the token Asian because of college scholarships and acting gigs. I DON'T enjoy being the minority when people in English speaking countries (aka here or the States) assume I don't speak English.

Oh, and I found that gig through durantcom.com, the Phoenix auditions website. Now I'm actually finding stuff the real way, through an agent.

Superstar! Love that you're wearing pink =) Actually, it just looks like a beauty mark, not a zit. At least you enjoyed the yummy cookies!
