Goodbye,dear friend. (warning, sad blog post ahead)

Today we mourn the tragic loss of our dear friend, Adam "The Rolla" Corolla. Manufactured in 1984, he lived a long and adventurous life accumulating thousands of kilometres along the way. Most recent accomplishments include dodging kangaroos to and from Sydney, teaching Summer to drive in Oz, getting us Yanks from point A to point B and beyond, and all the while jamming great tunes while doing so. Yesterday he was found at the end of Brian and Dustin's hiking trail (in Mapleton, QLD),obviously a victim of a horrific case of arson (perhaps an act of terrorism towards Americans?). Goodbye, mate...we shall always remember the good times....

Mind you, this situation came 5 DAYS AFTER Brian's ute got broken into and our garage door clicker was stolen. Bad week? I'll say. To end this blog post on a high note, let's look at the glass being half full: We still have the ute, B didn't keep anything of value in the ute so nothing else was taken (except the clicker, duh), the weather this week as we arrive into autumn is FANTASTIC, B and Dustin had the time of their lives on their camping/hiking trip, Lisa will be here (get your walking shoes, girl!) in 34 days, Summer's jazz group just got into a major music festival line up for December, and we (Sum & B) are spending our long Labour Day weekend (next weekend) in New Zealand :) :) :) Now...moving onwards and upwards...so till next time boys and girls, take all your valuables OUT of your cars, count your blessings, and tune in next time for highlights of NZ!
