In our efforts to take in all of the Aussie culture, we (ok, mostly Brian) have been taking chances on some new types of grub here. We realized that some "special" photographed moments from a couple of weeks ago somehow got lost in our mix of pictures. Just thinking about this made me gag again today, but decided to share anyway.
Let me make it clear that it wasn't my (Summer) idea to buy kangaroo from the butcher. But while Brian grilled it, I still had to smell its horribly sour and gamey smell. I gagged/threw up in my mouth a little while watching, pictured cute roos hopping about in my mind, and then had immediate thoughts of jumping back on the vegetarian bandwagon that I was safely riding on for nearly 5 years. After all was said and done, Brian described its taste as "kind of like a really, really cheap cut of beef with no fat in it". I'm sure many of you are reading this in horror but rest assured this won't be repeated anytime soon*.
To vegetarians, vegans, non red-meat eaters, animal rights activists, and Casey Green- we offer our sincerest apologies...

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Just kidding. I would have tasted one bite. Just to say that I had. And then never gotten near it again. :)
Haha, ew! Poor kangy!
Wow, adventurous Brian! Was it cheaper than regular ol' beef or was he just curious? Way to hang in there for those photographic moments dear Summer!
