On Sunday we went to cheer on the Brisbane Broncos in a Rugby League game against the Canberra Raiders!
We walked over to Suncorp Stadium with Jacob and our mate Sean (who is from NY and married Mel's sister Jill)
SO excited to watch a live game of our new favorite sport!
This bloke wins the award for "second person in Australia to ask Summer and Brian for their ID" *Note that you must be 18 years of age here to drink
Mel wins the award for "most team spirit"
Right after the Broncos scored! (It's called a "try" when you score)
We were probably screaming the loudest out of everyone!!! (Especially when they started to fight, Brian liked to yell, "rip his head off!!!") Final score: Broncos 32, Raiders 6. VICTORY!
Forgot to include this last week, but I caught the most incredible sunset from our balcony. It reminded me of Arizona sunsets :)
