Road trip to Noosa- "Best weekend ever". (again)

On a beautiful Saturday, we decided to take our trusty car and road trip it along the Sunshine Coast, to see Noosa for ourselves. Equipped with treats and good tunes, we set off for the sunny drive.
The main beach at Noosa Heads

A weird tree...
Hastings Street (shops and restaurants)
Trying to get a tan as fabulous as Summer's...

No clouds, and a spectacular 23 degrees! (celsius, obviously)

Then later that night, we were invited to the Chalk Hotel by our next door neighbor/bartender, Paul! Here we are listening to the live band.

Bars here are called "hotels", and most of them have pokies (slot machines) like the ones behind me.

What a fun day/night! Oh, did we mention that our mate gave us free drinks all night? (Don't tell his boss!!!)

That weird tree looks an awful lot like one I ran into in the Amazon last year. It was a walking tree. All those legs it grows actually move it around. As the legs grown down into the ground on one side, the old legs on the other side slowly die, thus moving it a few inches a year.

That's the mature intelligent Jody talking. The immature silly Jody says this:

Hahaha! Those weird things growing out of that weird tree look like something a little obscene!!!

Miss you guys!

Glad it was warm enough for swimming! Is the water nice?... as in Hawaii, or yucky as in CA?
