"How to not blink for 2 hours"

Brian and I are suckers for quality live entertainment. In fact, we are a bit obsessed. We've attended many concerts, plays, music festivals, Broadway musicals and more. One thing we are absolutely hooked on are the Cirque Du Soleil productions. (Brian refers to it as "amazing feats of humanry") We saw Corteo in Arizona, bought a dvd of Varekai, watched the behind the scenes tv series, saw Beatles LOVE in Vegas, and on Saturday night....saw Dralion! We knew they were coming to town way back in July, so we booked our tickets to this sold out show and our date night was our special holiday treat/gift to each other:

Ate at the popular "Oxley's on the River" restaurant, known in Bris for the great view and excellent seafood.

B was craving oysters :)

I however, stuck to the wine...(Cabernet Sauvignon from Western Australia, to be exact)

BRAVO! It was amazing. For any of you who haven't seen a Cirque production, go rent a dvd of one or check out a touring show or a Vegas show!!! Worth every dollar. (Yup, and then some...as you can see we purchased another dvd- this time of "Allegria")

Well, on that note we bid you adieu and Merry Christmas until we blog next week about our camping trip to Moreton Island! We leave on Weds (Christmas Eve) and Summer will return on Boxing Day. B and Dustin will continue on to camp and hike around the island for the weekend. We are almost packed up with our eskys (coolers) for our very first and true blue Aussie Christmas on the beach.
