So I had to make a very quick post today to mention that Aussie Santa Claus and the CRAPPY American economy have joined forces to bring my BEST mate, Lisa, to Australia!!! She has been watching the airfare since I left AZ and as the US dollar plummeted....so has the airfare. She scored a roundtrip ticket from Phoenix to Brisbane (coming for two weeks in June) for...get this...$1000! You're thinking, "that is a lot of money!" but a killer deal considering how far she is traveling. I had to throw that out there in case any of you are considering visiting! (Don't forget, your dollar goes a LONG way once you exchange over to Aussie dollars...) ;) Check out the countdown on the right for how many sleeps till she gets here. Also, if you run into her at a bookstore or shoe store....do NOT, I repeat, do NOT let her buy anything. TELL HER TO SAVE SAVE SAVE ALL THOSE PENNIES SHE MAKES AS A TEACHER!

See traveling to Australia is great when you're making money in U.S. dollars, but I'm getting paid in Korean Won, which decided to suck ass right before I got here. I guess it was closer to 1000.00 won to the dollar before I got here and now it's 1500.00 won to 1 dollar. Super lame!
