Queues, vodka, and all that jazz

What a weekend! This picture says it all...we used our theme park all inclusive passes to check out "Wet n Wild" waterpark on Sunday, and this ride alone was well worth standing in a 20 minute queue. We both were gripping the handles of the 4 person tube and at one point B caught some serious air as we were spun and thrown into that big funnel you see!...I'm sure you could also hear me screaming from across the park!

We also squeezed in celebrating Jake's birthday at a barbie on Saturday, I officially finished up the last of my training at work, and we dressed up to see Chicago on Sunday night! Fantastic seats, great show and free tickets capped off our fun weekend :)

Got a busy week ahead with a lot going on at work for both of us, I'm house-sitting, Brian is gearing up for yet another dirtbiking adventure, and I've got a callback for a local production of Les Miserables! (cross your fingers as I pretend to sing like a classically trained soprano-yikes)

We will leave you with this final thought: we now know why Queenslanders put up with the humid summer....the weather we've been getting lately (now autumn) is AMAZING!!!! :0)

p.s.I've added a new category of updates to mix things up for our blog readers a bit....check out the column on the right each week if you want a unique update from Summer :)

Oooo! Good luck on your les mis callbacks. And the vortex of death funnel thing looks pretty intense. I don't know if I would have the guts. This coming from a person who has skydived and bungeejumped...
