(Has nothing to do with being a domestic goddess) BUT another random thought is all this change we have lying around the house. Keep in mind we have $5 dollar notes, $10, $20, etc but here we've got $2 coins (the small gold one) and $1 coins (the bigger gold one). Additionally, the huge 50 cent piece up there is one of the most annoying things to carry around! Not only do we have heaps of coins, the 50 cent ones are heavy!!
Lastly, thought I'd share that I just scored an awesome job (mind you, the economy here is starting to plummet) at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre!! I will be (hopefully seeing free shows) working as an usher starting next week at this premiere theatre part time. I am ridiculously lucky to
1). Score a job at all (500 people applied for this, 30 got in)
2). Work for such a prestigious company in the fine arts
3). Work in the industry that I love as my hobby!
Moral of the story + reason why we have blogged so much this week=B and I are incredibly lucky to live these lives out here.

Those coins *look* enormous. Wow, when you loose a penny around here, it's only .01.... if you loose change out there, you could be up to $20 down the drain! Crazy! Anyway, you sound like Sophie Kinsella's little Domestic Goddess now, don't ya =p Those look yummy by the way!
p.s. For the record, I was using that jar of pasta sauce as a rolling pin.
Umm... did you just make cinnamon rolls with vegemite?? Is that what that was... cuz... well gross!!
What? Cinnamon?! Lisa- read the blog...it had cheese, vegemite, dough and HEAPS of butter in it. But now I'm going to make you my own special version with cinnamon...just for you...
p.s. Krysta- those $1 and $2 coins, we call them "beer and coffee tokens"! LOL We collect them and use them up at the pubs and the cafes! :) Its a good excuse to save them up...it adds up!
